Well, in their own words:

So, WTF does that even mean?
Like most cryptocurrencies, there will be no central bank or federal reserve for the Cheatmoon token. This is a decentralized currency. The same goes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Doge, for example. As you may already know, when banks don’t control a certain currency, that currency is more resistant to inflation, and oftentimes the holders of a cryptocurrency are able to vote on matters involving that cryptocurrency, sort of like owning a lot of stock in a company. In other words, the people control it instead of the bank.
The Cheatmoon App
The app is available for Android and iOS. It is free to download and free to use. There is no cost associated with this whatsoever. The only thing you need to do to get free Cheatmoon tokens is open the app once a day and press a button. Although the statement above from Cheatmoon says that this cryptocurrency is “mined” from your cell phone, no actual mining takes place on your phone. No data or battery is used in this process, and it will “mine” the token for 24 hours, even while the app is closed. This process is called “cloud mining.”
There are other ways to earn this token as well. Every 20 minutes you can open the app and open a loot box that will increase your mining rate or give you some bonus tokens. You can also complete missions that will give you free tokens as well as experience points that will level up your status within the Cheatmoon network. Higher statuses unlock bigger perks.

Well, for starters, in a little more than a year from the release of their app, they already have accomplished what other free crypto projects have taken several years to do.
They have improved their app dramatically since it was first released, increasing the ways to earn and fixing bugs as they arise.
They have already released a desktop node. You can sign into this node on any computer browser and leave it running and it will mine additional Cheatmoon tokens. This gives you an opportunity to earn 2400 tokens for each node session. You can run several sessions each day. They are already working to develop a downloadable desktop node that can be run without leaving any windows open. These nodes will help build their Blockchain. Cheatmoon claims to be building the fastest blockchain, but there isn’t much info about that yet to determine the legitimacy of that claim.

In conclusion…
Although it’s impossible to predict exactly how a project will pan out, there are several factors in these apps outlined above that give me the impression that they will be successful. At the end of the day, these don’t cost you anything except a few seconds of your time each day. To me, it’s worth it to take a few seconds each day to check into these apps because someday I predict that these tokens and NFTs will be worth real money. If I’m wrong, the only thing I’ve wasted is a few seconds each day.
